Gemma graduated in 2008 from the University of Sydney, and spent four years in a regional public hospital getting a well-rounded experience in acute, rehabilitation and outpatient settings.
Being a physiotherapist allowed Gemma to spend two years working in London, both for the NHS and private hospitals, while getting to eat and wander her way around Europe on weekends.
Since moving to Melbourne, Gemma has joined the two-wheeled commuter brigade and loves being able to incorporate cycling into her role with Own Body. She is passionate about maintaining a physically active lifestyle, and to encourage and enable patients to reach their own physical potential.
Gemma works full time in orthopaedics at a private hospital, and is available afternoons and evenings.
