Did you know that bone is made up of living tissue $Did you know that bone is made up of living tissue? Development through childhood is an important time to grow new bone. As we get older, our bones tend to lose strength due to a myriad of different factors, leaving our older population vulnerable to fracture. HOWEVER - Bones stay strong if we give them the right work to do 💪 It has been shown that the best way to keep bones strong is to continue to perform weight-bearing impact exercises and muscle strengthening across our lifespan. We will delve into what these types of exercises may look like next time!
