Niya is an accredited Physiotherapist who graduated from AUT, New Zealand, in 2009. Since then, she has worked across various healthcare settings in New Zealand, including hospitals, musculoskeletal outpatient clinics, and private practices.
She has experience working with patients in various stages of recovery including rehabilitation from sports injuries, post-surgical care, chronic pain management and treatment for neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, MS, stroke, Guillian-Barre syndrome.
In addition to her expertise in musculoskeletal care, Niya has a passion for aged care. She is committed to supporting older adults in achieving their highest level of independence, promoting strength, functional mobility and enhancing their quality of life through compassionate and tailored care.
Fluent in English, Hindi and Gujrati, she enjoys spending quality time with her children, focusing on yoga and Pilates and staying active through sports.
