Tabata and core!
Hello Bodies! I can almost hear so say Ta-what-a? Tabata training is taking 2014 by storm, and for good reason too. This style of training is all about short bursts of intensity each followed by recovery. The fitness journals are raving about the effect on fitness, health, endorphins and of course (you know I hate saying it but I know you love the hear it) … fat loss! So in the spirit of resolutions and trying new things, the theme of this 8 week course is Tabata, with an extra special focus on core strength (yes ladies, that means ripper abs!)
Boost Groups (not boot camp)
Exactly as the name suggests, these are a “Boost” for your health and fitness. Created for those who have a base level of fitness but love to exercise in a social, fun and positive environment or need a good ol’ kick up the bum from one of our fab instructors! Boost groups have seen great success, with current members eclipsing their fitness goals in our neatly packaged 8 week twice weekly program. In the fitness industry we too frequently hear reports of under-qualified unmotivated gym instructors pushing their clients to injury, which is why we only employ highly qualified physiotherapists and exercise physiologists to lead our Boost groups. These qualifications empower our instructors to help you reach your goals with effective exercises, correct technique and modifications to suit your body.
Time and location
8 week/16 session course commences Wednesday January 15th. Each week sessions run Wednesdays 6.30pm & Sundays 5pm (January) and for the first time we are saying “Hello Sunday Mornings” with Sunday sessions in February running at 9am! We are located at Elwood Park, by the beach at the bottom of Head St, Elwood. Google maps location here.
- Casual sessions $20 (RSVP essential via email or phone 0418316008)
- Flexipack 8 sessions for $135 ($16.90 per session), all sessions to be used throughout this 8 week course.
